Meet Mariam: A single mother of four in a Sudan refugee camp
As part of the Ramadan 2018 campaign, I decided to create a series of video case studies. This video was one of them.
I worked with the Charity Right team in Sudan to find a family we could film. I instructed the videographer on the type of footage I wanted. Once I’d received the raw footage, I organised it, wrote the script, recorded the voiceover, and then worked with a UK video editor to create the final video.
This video was sent out to the charity’s mailing list and raised a significant amount. For confidentiality reasons, I’m unable to disclose the amount.
It received 42K views and 438 shares on Facebook.
It increased awareness of Charity Right’s food project with Eritrean refugees in Sudan.
